Tah Dah 2010 #8

My coworker, Nancy, retired from teaching this year.  She moved to her cabin to enjoy retirement.  It’s a gorgeous place on the lake.  So I decided to finish a Minnesota runner I started last year to give her as a retirement present.  It’s perfect for her lake home.

There are many scenes from Minnesota on the fabric.  Here’s the Stone Arch Bridge and the Metrodome.

Here’s the Capitol and of course, pine trees.

For the backing I used the fabric with MN words.

I have enough fabric to make another one.  I think I need one for myself.  Maybe I’ll have a cabin one day. 🙂
