WISQ July 2010

Quilt group was at my house this month.  Some of us started early and had dinner (which was supposed to be on the deck) in my dining room.  It was as hot and humid as the rain forest that night, so outdoors was not an option.

We had great show and tell as always.

Karen’s quilts:

Claudia’s quilt, pieced by her and quilted my me:

Cathy’s stash buster quilt:

Mary’s little quilt:

Shirley’s apron – it’s reversible:

Shirley’s quilts:

Mary Beth’s bow tucks bag:

Rita’s quilts:

Here’s some other fun stuff.  Cindy brought some antique clothing:

I believe this wedding gown is from the 1800s.

Here’s a scarf that Cindy’s knitting.  Isn’t the yarn beautiful?

Mary knit her jewelry.  Really!

Cindy gave me a hostess gift.  It’s just perfect:  black, white, red and polka dots.  It has all my favorites.  Thanks Cindy.

What a great meeting.  We are one bunch of creative women.
